Business is one of the largest and most important sectors in the world, with a qualification taking you into roles including management, finance, law and marketing.

Our range of courses cover a range of aspects of enterprise which can be applicable no matter what your desired career.

So whether you want to move on to university, find a job straight away, or even start your own business, you will leave Doncaster College with the knowledge you need to succeed in the business sector.

You will work alongside highly qualified and experienced tutors from
business, retail, hospitality and administration backgrounds, all of whom will help you to gain an understanding of business behaviour and set you up with the ability to think critically, make decisions and take the lead in a business environment.

Course Enrichment

You will get a real insight into the world of business and have the opportunity to gain work experience at a range of regional businesses we work closely in partnership with. There will be the chance to listen to experts from a range of different backgrounds with guest speakers offering their time to share knowledge and answer any questions you may have about their roles, sector, and career paths.

What does the Technical Qualification cover?

Legal Services Assistant Crime, Criminal Justice and Social Welfare.

  • Crime
  • Criminal Justice System
  • Welfare Law

Levels will combine classroom theory and practical learning, and are made up of the following:

  • Technical Qualification: the substantial component of your course.
  • Industry placement: of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days) with an employer to make sure you have authentic experience of the workplace.
