A T-Level splits into two parts that both have to be passed: a core that builds broad business knowledge and skills, and an occupational specialism where you develop real competence in a role like business improvement, team leadership or business support. The core covers business context, people, quality and compliance, finance, policies and procedures, project and change management, and business behaviours.
The part that sets a T Level apart is the 45-day industry placement (315+ hours) with a real employer. You apply what you learn in an actual workplace, build real experience, and finish with something genuine to show universities and employers. You’ll also work with local employers through visits and guest speakers, with past student success at Lakeside Shopping Village, Doncaster Council and the Bank of England. Carries UCAS points towards university.
