T Level – Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control (Fabrication and Welding Technologies)

This qualification focuses on the development of knowledge and skills needed to work for working in the engineering industry, which will prepare you to enter the industry through employment or as an apprentice. This course is for 2 years, typically 3 days in College, 2 days industry work experience. Furthermore, the completion of this qualification gives you the opportunity to progress onto higher education courses and training.

In addition to completing the mandatory 17 unit core component, you will complete one standalone occupational specialism in fabrication and welding.

Exam, Employer Set Project and Practical Assessment

You will require a grade 5 in GCSE English and maths as well as a minimum of 3 other GCSEs at grade 4 or above which must include a science.
