What You'll Learn

MIG, TIG, Arc. Join and Shape Metal, For Real.

This course gives you the real, recognised welding skills employers look for. You’ll learn to weld by manual metal arc, MIG and TIG processes, and to fabricate thick plate, working hands-on in the workshops with real kit. It pairs the craft with the theory: the principles of engineering, and the principles of fabrication and welding technology.

It is a genuine mix of practical and academic, so you leave with both the hands-on ability and the underpinning knowledge to back it up. On completion you can progress to the T Level in Engineering Technologies, or towards a welding and fabrication apprenticeship or skilled employment.
