This course will give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills on uniformed services related subjects.
You will do a mixture of theory and practical based units with links to various services such as the Police, RAF, Army, Navy or the prison service for example.
You will complete a series of workbooks for each unit which offer the opportunity for pass, merit and distinction grades. As well as being assessed on some of the practical units such as map reading and leadership.
You may also complete: NCS, Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and Basic first aid.
This course is for 1 Year, attending college 3 days per week onsite, this includes math’s and English.
On achievement of a merit overall you will be offered the opportunity to progress to NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services
