GCSE Biology is now available mainly as a two-year course.
This course is suitable for progression onto healthcare courses such as nursing or any biology-based level 3 course such as Access to HE or A-Levels. It is also for students who need a science GCSE for Primary Teaching (alternative GCSE Chemistry is also suitable).
The exam board we use is Edexcel.
The next courses start early September 2024. Biology classes will run on Mondays with a choice of mornings (10am-12pm) or evenings (6pm -8pm).
For students wishing to fast-track and complete the course in one year, you would also need to join the Monday afternoon class (1pm -3pm) in addition to your choice of morning or afternoon class.
