Warehousing and logistics are the fastest growing industry in the UK since Brexit. In this warehousing and storage qualification, you’ll learn how to undertake preparations for receiving goods, use different stock control methods and the best way to report and record any variations.
Learn new skills, organisation, and systems are all required to coordinate the fast-paced world of logistics.
This is an on-line, distance learning course which is accessed via your Internet-connected computer. You can enrol at any time, and it is flexible as you can log on and study when it suits you. Tutor support is available by telephone and email.
The online course contains all the learning content needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course. There are also activities to enable you to practise your skills and test your learning.
To achieve the qualification, you need to complete all 5 units, within 15 weeks.
- Introduction to Warehousing and Storage (H/615/2642)
- Understand How to Receive and Store Goods (K/615/2738)
- Understand How to Process Orders and Prepare Them for Dispatch (K/615/2660)
- Understand How to Check Stock and Update Records (M/615/2661)
- Customer Service in Warehousing and Storage (T/615/2662)
The online course contains all the learning content needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course. There are also activities to enable you to practise your skills and test your learning.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification, however you must:
- Currently live in England
- Resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study
- be aged 19+
- Not be on an apprenticeship
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:
- Level 3 Award in Warehousing
- Level 3 Diploma in Warehousing and Storage.

Warehouse worker (16,000 to £24,000)
Folklift Driver (£17,000 to £30,000)
Packer (£12,000 to (22,000)
