We’re absolutely thrilled that Doncaster College Floristry students will be showcasing their stunning talents at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show 2025! This monumental achievement puts our students on a world stage, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and a passion for floristry like never before.

But how did we get here? Let’s rewind and take you on The Road to Chelsea…

October 2024 Floristry Tutor Jade Loftus submitted her visionary design titled ‘Colour My World’ to the RHS. Her concept featured vivid tropical blooms, recycled elements, and hundreds of hidden glass jars – a stunning blend of sustainability and spectacle.
December 2024 Just before Christmas, the best present arrived — we received confirmation that Doncaster College had been selected to take part in the Chelsea Flower show 2025, standing out from colleges across the UK.
January 2025 We couldn’t keep it a secret any longer! The team shared the exciting news and selected the lucky students who would help bring Jade’s vision to life at Chelsea.
February 2025 BBC News paid a visit to cover our buzzing floristry team, capturing the excitement and behind-the-scenes preparation.
March 2025 Teamwork in full bloom! Our talented construction students rolled up their sleeves to build and paint the set for ‘Colour My World’.
April 2025 It’s almost showtime! The Floristry department have been working hard preparing the display, making sure to iron out final details to ensure everything is perfect for the big day.
