Workforce Development About Us

Workforce Development is a department of DN Colleges Group focused on providing industry focused Training programmes, qualifications and courses to employers, business owners and their staff.

We are the primary delivery department of the Group for commercial, Adult Education Skills Fund (ASF) Budgets along with other regional funded contracts delivering work-based programmes.

The department delivers learning and development either primarily at the learner’s place of work or through open courses run at one of our two College sites at Doncaster/Scunthorpe or at local corporate venues.

We deliver bespoke programmes for employers.  These include industry relevant and compliance qualifications, alongside non-accredited personal development courses. We currently offer over 65 courses and Qualifications, delivered by our Team of Industry experienced Trainers and Assessors

We work in partnership with businesses to develop and maintain long-term working partnerships across Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, The East Riding, and the North Midlands, whilst working with business groups, local Chambers of Commerce and Regional LEP’s. Ensuring our offer is relevant to our Region it’s industry and People.

We work with employers and their Staff. This includes carrying out training needs analysis and working to support their diverse range of needs including working around your delivery/production schedules, shift patterns, in the workplace ensuring a minimal impact on your business whilst meeting both the employer’s and the learner’s individual needs
