This qualification is for learners who want to develop and extend their digital skills to prepare for employment in different roles in the digital industries.
You will complete 2 different units to achieve your qualification.
Using Microsoft Word, to complete the Word Processing Unit and Microsoft Excel, to complete the Spreadsheet software unit.
Word Processing will develop your ability to maximise the tools available in word-processing software to prepare, process, and produce a wide range of sophisticated and professional documents accurately and efficiently.
For the spreadsheets unit, you will develop an understanding of spreadsheet software tools and techniques to be able to produce spreadsheets. You will learn how to apply advanced formulae and functions to process data and use automated tools to aid productivity.
This classroom-based course contains all the learning content needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course. There are also activities to enable you to practise your skills and test your learning.
You can enrol at any time, and it is flexible, tutor support is available in class, telephone, and email.
