About The Waterfront
Our dishes and refreshments are prepared and served by Hospitality and Catering students studying qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3 in Culinary Skills, Professional Cookery and Hospitality Supervision. Through hands-on experience in a real working environment, students develop the practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge needed for a successful career in hospitality.
The Coffee Shop provides an authentic learning environment where students gain experience in food preparation, customer service and barista skills. Offering freshly made soups, sandwiches, salads, cakes and daily specials, it’s a welcoming space for both visitors and the college community to enjoy quality food and drinks.
Our spacious Waterfront Restaurant and bar can accommodate lunch service as well as conferences, breakfast meetings, afternoon teas, business dinners and other special events. During warmer months, guests can also make use of our outdoor terrace, providing a relaxing space to dine and unwind by the waterfront.

The Waterfront Restaurant & Coffee Shop offers bespoke event packages and flexible spaces for conferences, business dinners, afternoon teas and special occasions. Our popular themed evenings, hosted monthly on selected Thursdays, showcase the creativity and talent of our Level 3 Hospitality and Catering students. Guests can enjoy an exciting menu of expertly prepared dishes, all at excellent value.

Love food, cooking and creating memorable dining experiences? Our Catering and Hospitality courses help students develop professional skills in cookery, food service and hospitality management.
We offer a range of courses, including Level 1 Introduction to Culinary Skills, Level 2 in Professional Food and Beverage Service to Level 3 in Restaurant Management and Events.
Students gain hands-on experience in industry-standard kitchens and real working environments, including our Waterfront Restaurant and Coffee Shop, building the skills and confidence needed for careers in restaurants, hotels, cafes and the wider hospitality industry.
