Enrolment 2024 – 2025

Further Education Students at Doncaster College

We have put together some Enrolment Information for your chosen course.

You will be receiving an email in August to share important information for the enrolment process, so please ensure that you check your Spam and Junk filters and folders to ensure you don’t miss any messages.  If at any time you have any issues with this or any questions, or you have not received an email by 19 August please contact the Enrolment Team:

There will be the opportunity to talk to your tutors, gain further information on these services and walk away enrolled as a student with us:

  • Bus passes
  • Academic Support
  • Financial Support
  • ALS (Adult Learning Support)
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)

Enrolment Process

 

The process for the enrolment days for 16-18 students will be:

Step 1: College Entrance: Collect a pen and enrolment checklist
Step 2: Head to the food hall, where you will meet your vocational tutor. They will confirm your course and provide details about your first day. Maths and English tutors will review your GCSE results and assign you to a group for the next year if necessary.

*It is mandatory for all students to have their Maths and English grades reviewed and if you have not achieved a Grade 4 in Maths or English you must be enrolled and attend Maths and English.  

Step 3: Visit the DBS stand if your course requires it and submit your completed Consent Form
Step 4: Proceed to the sports hall to finalise your enrolment and have your ID badge printed

 

*The Government Condition of Funding is that if a learner has not achieved a Grade 4 in Maths and English, for their Study Programme to be funded they must enrol and attend Maths and English.  

 

16-18 Students – Please can make sure you bring your GCSE results statement with you to ensure you are allocated the correct course.

Identification

Please bring one of the following forms of identity:

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • National Insurance Card/Letter
  • Bank/Debit/Credit Card
  • National ID/Citizen Card
  • Birth Certificate

Enrolment Dates

Please note the following SAVE THE DATES for your enrolment 

If you cannot attend any of the dates, don’t worry. You can visit the reception from

02 September, and the team will be able to assist you.

Mop up session All ages Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 August Drop in any time between 10am-4pm If you cannot attend your allocated session above, please attend a mop up session
