It will combine theory and practical application of knowledge to develop essential leadership and teamwork skills and improve personal fitness levels to meet the entry requirements of your chosen Uniformed service. Participate in outdoor activities, practical sport, visits from uniformed services, fitness testing & training, work experience, delivering activities to schools and community groups.
You can progress onto a second-year top-up Extended diploma in Entry to the Uniformed services which you will gain sufficient UCAS Points to enable you to study a university degree.

This course is for 1 Year, attending college 2.5 days per week onsite.

On achievement of a merit overall you will be offered the opportunity to return for a second year to achieve the Extended Diploma in uniformed services and gain additional UCAS points.
