What You'll Need

  • Suitable if both your Maths and English are currently below Grade 4
  • A genuine interest in electrical work and becoming an electrician
  • Successful interview with our team
You'll keep working towards Grade 4 in Maths and English alongside your course. Maths matters in electrical work, so this is time well spent.
What You'll Learn

Learn to Wire It, Safely.

This course is a hands-on introduction to electrical installation. You’ll work in the electrical workshops learning how installations are put together, how to wire safely, and the electrical principles behind it all. Health and safety runs through everything, because in electrical work getting it right is the whole job.

It is practical, but there’s real theory too: electrical science, technical information and the maths the trade runs on. You’ll get your own workspace and build genuine skills with real materials. By the end of the year you’ll have the foundation of the electrical trade and a clear route to the Level 2 Electrical Installations diploma.
