Bricklayers
Up to £43,088Bricklayers erect and repair brick, pre-cut stone and concrete block structures such as walls, paving, chimney stacks and tunnel lining.
This course is designed for those students who would like a career in construction, but not quite sure on which pathway to select, this course offers units in construction trades to gain 9 credits and complete the Award.
If completed at the end of the academic year, the student will be able to select a trade to study further.
What You’ll Learn
Course Structure
Units of study will vary from the selected trades for each student, with some students achieving more credits and progressing faster.
Assessment Methods
10% Theory – 90% Practical
Candidates must produce a portfolio of theory and practical evidence to support the qualification outcome.
Training wil be carried out, once the candidate is ready for assessment, the units will be assessed under assessment conditions by the tutor to prove skills and knowledge in each topic.
