This course is a high quality, industry recognised course for students wishing to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in a variety of areas of the travel and tourism industry. This will create a sound background to either working in travel and tourism or progressing on to further qualifications.
The 1-year Level 2 Certificate in Travel & Tourism consists of 6 units of study.
To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Travel and Tourism learners are required to successfully complete mandatory and optional units.
Alongside this you will study Maths and English GSCE to support and enhance your studies and employability.
Progression opportunities: Level 3 Travel & Tourism, Level 2 Aviation or Level 2 Cabin Crew.
The initial NCFE Certificate consists of the following units of study.
- Customer service in the travel and tourism industry
- The UK travel and tourism industry

- Introduction to guided tours
- Work experience in travel and tourism
- UK purpose-built visitor attractions
- Understanding package holidays
- Travel agency operations
- Career planning for travel and tourism
