Your first step into the craft of floristry. If you love flowers and making things by hand, this is where you start. You'll learn to work with fresh flowers, create your first designs, and get a real feel for the craft, with no experience needed. It's hands-on, creative, and a genuine route towards a job in a florist shop.

This course is a real introduction to the craft of floristry. You’ll learn to use floristry tools and equipment safely, identify common flowers and plants, and create your first designs by hand. It’s practical from the start, working with real flowers, and it gives you a genuine feel for whether floristry is the craft for you.
You’ll also build the people skills and confidence that florists need, through customer service and working with others. You’ll gather your work into a portfolio as you go. By the end of the year you’ll have real hands-on skills and a clear route to the Level 2 Certificate in Floristry.
