This Level 2 builds the real skills a vehicle technician needs. You’ll cover health and safety, working with materials, fabrication, and using tools and measuring devices properly. You’ll get hands-on with routine vehicle maintenance and get to grips with the chassis, its units and components.
You’ll train in our fully equipped garage on real vehicles with professional tools, with trips like Silverstone along the way. It leads to the Level 3, or an apprenticeship (the Level 3 Motor Vehicle apprenticeship runs at our North Lindsey campus), and towards a technician’s job in a garage or dealership.

Student Voice
I've learnt how to fix minor issues on vehicles and really enjoyed the hands-on learning. I'm applying for Level 3 next. As a mature student, balancing home and college has been tough, but the tutors have been really helpful and supportive.
Students are often surprised by how friendly and welcoming college is. It's a supportive community where they'll build genuine friendships and feel part of something.
