Level 2 Award in Introduction to Counselling Skills 1232

The Level 2 Award in Introduction to Counselling Skills is designed to provide learners with an introduction to basic counselling skills. Learners will develop their knowledge of the counselling profession, looking at the role of professional frameworks/codes of conduct and the core personal qualities that enable competent counsellors.

Learners will also begin to develop their practical skills in developing, maintaining, and concluding a basic counselling session, providing them with the skills, knowledge and understanding of practice within the boundaries of an ethical framework.
