This Level 2 gives you the knowledge and skills to support people well: how people develop, how to communicate, how to keep people safe, and the anatomy and nutrition behind good care. It's a genuine step towards employment in care, or up to the T Level and beyond.

You'll also study GCSE Maths and English alongside your course where you need to, built into your timetable.
What You'll Learn

The Real Foundation of Care.

This course gives you the core knowledge and skills a care role needs. You’ll study equality, diversity and rights in care, human growth and development, safeguarding and protection, communication, and what it means to work in health and social care. It’s honest, hands-on preparation for real work with people.

You’ll also go a little deeper with specialist areas like anatomy and physiology and nutrition for health and social care. Alongside the course you can keep building your Maths and English. It leads towards a care job, the Level 3, or the T Level in Health.
