This Level 2 Certificate is a great next step for beginners: you'll learn hand-tied designs, floral arrangements and wedding work, building the craft and confidence to work as a florist. Practical, creative, and taught with fresh flowers in a college with its own flower shop.

What You'll Need

  • An interest in flowers and making things by hand
  • Best suited to beginners, or those who have done the Level 1
  • Successful interview with our team (contact us to talk it through)
If you're still working towards Grade 4 in Maths or English, you can keep building those alongside the course.
What You'll Learn

Hand-Tied, Arranged, and Ready for the Big Day.

This course covers the core skills a florist uses every day. You’ll learn hand-tied and presentation designs, floral arrangements, and wedding designs and accessories, working with fresh flowers by hand. It starts with an introduction to art and design for florists, so you build a real eye for colour, shape and style.

It’s hands-on and creative, and it builds the confidence to make beautiful work for real occasions. You’ll be assessed through practical work, a theory assignment and online testing. It’s a genuine step towards a job in a florist shop, or towards your own business.
