Skills for Life and Work.
This course helps you build real skills for everyday life. You will learn things like making a journey safely, healthy living, personal finance, communication, and working as part of a group. You will also build the skills that help at work: applying for a job, behaviour at work, staying safe, and using a computer.
Everyone learns at their own pace, with support every step of the way. You will also keep building your Maths and English. You gather your work as you go, and celebrate what you achieve. Many students go on to work experience, a next course, or a job.

I’ve learnt to cook, go shopping, cross roads safely, and feel more confident in the community. I’ve improved my maths and English. I love coming to college, seeing friends, doing lessons, and using the library. I also enjoy doing conservation work and work experience.
