Successful completion of this course will provide candidates with a GCSE mathematics. This can lead to a range of career opportunities and improve job prospects.
Candidates will study the following areas of mathematics:
- Number and Algebra
- Geometry and Measures
- Statistics and Probability
Candidates will be expected to undertake an initial assessment in both
English and mathematics and a diagnostic assessment in mathematics, and attend
for interview before a place on the programme can be offered.
Those candidates not at the required entry level will be offered other
programmes of study which will prepare them for entry at a later
date.
