When you enrolled you gave us a personal email address. Open that inbox, not your college one: you don’t have a college one yet.
Find the email from us. It has the two things you need:
Keep that email open or somewhere you can get back to it. You’ll use both in Step 3.

Authenticator is the app that proves it’s you when you sign in. Install it now, then leave it alone.
Don’t set it up yet. It can’t do anything until Step 4, once your password is sorted.

About 3 minutes
Go to portal.office.com and sign in with your college email address and the temporary password from that email. You’ll be asked to change the password straight away.

Three random words with a number and a symbol on the end works well, like BeatDrumsSoda2? Write yours down somewhere safe until you know it by heart.
The portal might ask you to set up multi-factor authentication right after this. If it does, follow what’s on screen. If it doesn’t, carry on to Step 4.

Now connect the app you installed in Step 2. This is how you verify it’s you when you’re on site.
Four apps, about four minutes. Sign in to each one with your college email address and your new password. You need all four on your first day.
