Work experience is an invaluable opportunity for you to gain an insight into the world of work. We believe that learning takes place both in the classroom/workshop as well as outside experiences with employers.
About Work Experience
All students across every subject area are supported to undertake work experience placements; the placement will be focused on developing the relevant practical and technical skills required for a profession or trade that you will be studying.
We have a full team of Work Placement Officers who will support you and assist you in finding a work placement ensuring you get the most out of your experience, our students have been involved in some fantastic community projects. We work with a wide range of employers across various sectors within the Doncaster area and outside of our region, all of which off er exciting opportunities to work on real projects. The use of placements in business and industry help develop skills and attitudes needed for employment.
In the past, our construction students have been involved in the new development of a skate park, our fashion students have made dignity smocks for the vulnerable and elderly within Doncaster and our sports students have been involved in holiday camps with Active Fusion to name just a few!
