ESOL Skills For Life courses are designed for nonnative speakers of english to improve their language skills in order to cope with everyday life in the UK.

You’ll study speaking and listening, reading and writing to improve your skills in listening and responding, speaking to communicate, contributing effectively, and engaging in discussions and improving your spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.

We offer both full and flexible part-time courses and our highly experienced team will discuss the best options for you. Full-time courses are for 16–18 year olds, with the opportunity to go on trips and undertake work experience. The part-time provision is for adults, with a variety of classes running in the mornings, afternoon and evenings.

Progression opportunities are available on to our GCSE programmes, these include biology, English, maths further boosting your skills and employment opportunities.

Many of our students progress into vocational subject areas on completion of the ESOL programme.

Course Enrichment

Alongside your studies you will also have the opportunity to complete work experience, our dedicated team of work placement officers will support you into work in the local community, allowing you to have real hands-on experience to put your skills to the test and help develop them further.

Our friendly team have over ten years’ experience teaching at the College and have a track record of delivering fantastic results, with 100% of completed students on the ESOL study programmes achieving their qualifications and progressing onto other courses.
