Level 1 Teaching Assistant Qualification

If you wish to work in an education setting supporting students who have EHCP or just need support to keep on task – then this is the course for you.

The first part of the course looks at preparing to work in schools, this looks at the school setting and child support and development and safety.

Then we look at Fundamental British values how it is taught in schools what is involved, Equality and Diversity, the importance of Safeguarding, and how it is effective in schools to protect the students.

Infection control covers what an infection is how it spreads who is at risk and what preventions need to be put in place.

General Health and safety are covered in an education setting.

Food safety covers keeping food safe when preparing, cooking, and storing the importance of personal hygiene, and cleanliness of the preparation area.
