This course is designed to give learners an introduction to Digital, IT Skills and Creative Media, to prepare them for progression to our Level 2 qualifications in Creative Industries, ICT and beyond.

The course is for 1 Year, all learners also have to undertake 30 hr work experience and complete Maths and English if they do not already hold a grade 4 in either.
The course is delivered through a series of 7 units, each with its own set assignment.
Unit include:
- Imaging Software
- Website Design
- IT Support Fundamentals
- Digital Graphics
- Cybersecurity
- Moving Image
- Creative Industries Project
All assessment is through portfolio.
Students are not expected to have any previous knowledge or qualifications in these areas but should display an interest in areas of Digital, IT Skills and Creative Industries as a profession. This might be as an IT technician, Installation and networking management in IT, Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Film maker, Animator or Games Designer.
Level 2 qualification in Creative Digital (DFC02283) and ICT (DFC00464).
