Level 3 National Foundation Diploma Computing EDEXCEL

The Pearson BTEC qualification is designed to support learners who wish to study computing and develop skills and knowledge require to undertake a career within the digital industry.

This programme collaborates with employers, representatives from higher education and relevant professional bodies.

It also ensures the learners are able to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of the digital industry. The course focuses on computing skills tailor to the industry to ensure your knowledge and skills are transferable to specific job role within the digital industry such as Software Developer / IT Technician / Network Engineer /System Analyst / Cyber Security.

The Level 3 programme provides you with an opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship after successful completion of the course but does not give sufficient UCAS points into the university. If you intend to go to the university, you will progress on the top-up (year 2) to obtain sufficient UCAS points into university.

The Level 3 BTEC Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification combining practical and theoretical study
