Access to HE Diploma (Humanities and Social Sciences)

Within these courses you will study a range of different subject areas across sociology, criminology and psychology.

Through these subject areas students are expected to progress to university courses in discipline such as social work, criminology, probation, police force, psychology, counselling, etc.

The units you may study throughout this course include:

Assessment takes place at regular intervals throughout the course. Units take around 7 weeks to complete with assessment normally taking place at the end of the unit. A range of assessment methods is used including research tasks, structured questions, presentations and in-class tests

Applicants are normally expected to have achieved GCSE English and Maths at grade C / 4 before starting on this course. However, we welcome all applications and take account of individual circumstances including work experience and other achievements when offering places.
