Doncaster College’s Gift-Tag Appeal for Bluebell Wood

As Christmas draws near, Doncaster College is once again spreading warmth by partnering with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice for their annual gift-tag appeal.

In the college’s reception area, a Christmas tree is beautifully decorated, not just with baubles, but with special tags. Each tag represents a real gift idea for children and families supported by the hospice.

Here’s how it works:
1. Choose a tag from the Christmas tree.
2. Buy the corresponding gift.
3. Wrap it up and return it to reception.

Last year we gathered and donated over 100 gifts that went directly to Bluebell Wood to support children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

This appeal is a wonderful example of how Doncaster College brings its community together in a simple, meaningful way, turning festive generosity into real support for families who rely on Bluebell Wood’s care.

If you would like to get involved, make sure to head down to reception and pick up a tag, wrap your gift and return it back to us by the 10th of December.
