Doncaster College Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2025

Doncaster College is proud to take part in National Apprenticeship Week 2025, running from 10th February to 16th February, with this year’s theme, “Skills for Life,” highlighting how apprenticeships provide lifelong skills that benefit individuals and businesses alike.

Throughout the week, we will be shining a spotlight on the value of apprenticeships by sharing content and resources detailing how they can build successful careers while contributing to business growth. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Apprenticeship Case Studies: Read inspiring stories of our apprentices who have gained career-defining skills through their journey and how these skills have opened doors to exciting careers in a wide range of industries.

Apprenticeship Information Event at Doncaster College

As part of the celebration, Doncaster College is hosting a dedicated event on campus on 11th February offering attendees the chance to speak directly with tutors to learn about the apprenticeship programs on offer, meet employers, and discover the apprenticeship opportunities available, and access guidance on how to apply for an apprenticeship and kickstart your career.

Vice Principal of Adult and Apprenticeships said, “We’re once again proud to support the National Apprenticeship Week campaign and are looking forward to welcoming potential apprentices and employers to our apprenticeship information event on the 11th of February to learn all about the variety of apprenticeship pathways available and how hiring an apprentice can benefit businesses in the local community.”

He continued “National Apprenticeship Week is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our past and present apprentice’s success and greatest achievements, and in recognition of this year’s theme, ‘Skills for Life’, how apprenticeships can open new and exciting doors and lead you into a career with a timeless skillset.”
