Doncaster College Celebrates Former Student Oska Ready’s Participation in WorldSkills Finals

Doncaster College is proud to announce that former student Oska Ready is currently representing Team UK in the prestigious WorldSkills finals, taking place in Lyon, France.

 This remarkableachievement highlights Oska’s dedication, talent, and the high-quality training provided by his lecturers.

Oska, who now works at DN1 Delicatessen, has made a name for himself through his hard work and commitment to his craft. His former lecturer, Simon Barton, has travelled to France to provide support and encouragement during this important competition.

Adding to the excitement, DN1 Delicatessen was recently mentioned in the House of Commons during Sally Jameson MP’s Maiden speech, where she said, “There is much to celebrate.” The mention underscores the significant impact Oska and his workplace have had on the local community.

The WorldSkills competition, often referred to as the “Olympics of Skills,” showcases the very best young professionals from across the globe. Oska’s participation is not only a personal achievement but also a source of pride for Doncaster College, his colleagues, and the local community.
